Touch of Hope (www.touchofhopehaiti.com) is the non-profit organization that my family started in 2011. Touch of Hope raises the funds to keep Tytoo Gardens Orphanage and the Community School of Simonette (founded by my handsome husband, Webert) open.

The largest program Touch of Hope has is the child sponsorship program. Sponsoring a child costs $35 a month and the money provides the child with a meal a day, a new uniform, needed books and supplies, and also money to pay the teachers and staff.  If you are interested in sponsoring a child click here to personally choose your child.  When you find a child you would like to sponsor please fill out the form at the bottom of this page.

The school is fully Haitian staffed and we employ over 60 people, including a kitchen staff and grounds keepers. All the children receive a noon meal of rice and beans and a breakfast meal of bread in the morning. We were recently able to build a playground and basketball court; the children love being able to play! We have a chicken coop that provides the local orphanage with its eggs and the mountaintop is home to many goats as well!

Touch of Hope Haiti feels that part of their vision is to work among the people of Simonette and to minister to them.We are not sure what else is in store for Touch of Hope, but we are here to be His hands and feet.
